Secretariat

Section 14 of the constitution of the Council provides for the election of a Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of the Council. The Chairperson is appointed for a period of twenty four (24) months and the Vice-Chairpersons for a period of twelve (12) months. Together they oversee the functioning of the Secretariat. The Secretariat, is managed by the General Secretary, and it is responsible for all the administrative functions of the Council.

The organisational structure of the Secretariat reflects nineteen (19) funded posts.
